Where can I get a remote control for my garage door opener?

Remote controls are a transmitter you can keep in your car or on your key-chain to open and close your garage door. If your opener is 15 years, old and older than you will probably need to get a universal remote that will work with older openers.

You can purchase replacement remotes at most retail hardware stores. If you are having a hard time finding the right remote that you need than a garage door co. will usually have what you need on there truck. Sometimes the universal remotes can be a few dollars more. If you can’t find a universal remote you will have to purchase remotes from the same brand as your opener.

When I buy replacement remotes from my wholesaler I always get universal ones because I come across so many different brands and ages of openers. Also the Internet is a place you can find whatever you need for openers. Ebay or garage door parts wholesaler.
